Kumar is an entrepreneur and a leader in the Australian Real Assets investment industry with over 30 years experience in banking and investment management. He has extensive experience across all major Real Assets sectors, especially in alternate sectors. Kumar is regarded as one of the pioneers of institutional investment into affordable housing.

Kumar co-founded Eureka Funds Management (Eureka) in 2004 – which grew to 30 + staff, over 20 institutional clients and circa $8 billion AUM.

The Eureka platform was sold to AXA Investment Managers (AXA IM) following which Kumar oversaw the expansion of the business into alternate sectors whilst integrating the two Eureka into the broader, global AXA business.

Kumar strongly believes that the power of institutional investment can proactively be utilised to make the world a more sustainable place for current and future generations. The establishment of Acacia as a true impact platform is driven by this conviction.
